Leading up to race day
Learn the the location and time of the event, gates only open for short periods of time in the morning
Remove as many loose items as you can from the car, all loose items will need to be removed before participating
Make lunch and drink plans, once on the airport pad you must remain until the end of the event
Torque wheel nuts to manufacturer recommendation
Print a copy of the tech sheet and perform an inspection of your car
Create a fuel plan - many competetors prefer fuel levels between 1/4 and 3/4 at the start of the event, again - no leaving the airport mid-event for fuel.
On Race Day
Be on time
Park in the designated parking area
Remove all loose items from your car
Check torque of wheel nuts, adjust air pressures
Check in with organizers
Assist with timing gear or course setup - it is required !
Attend Safety meeting
Walk the course when offered by the race official
